Plan safer city exploration when dangerous deep-dark encounters are possible. This guide focuses on a repeatable setup process rather than assuming every launcher, modpack or server uses the same files.
Separate generation from mob mechanics
Lost Cities changes the environment, while Warden spawning follows Minecraft conditions and any other mods you have installed. The city theme itself does not guarantee a Warden.
Prepare for vertical exploration
Generated buildings and underground spaces can create long routes, drops and enclosed paths. Carry blocks, food, light sources and a reliable way back to the surface.
Avoid unnecessary noise in risky areas
If your route enters deep-dark content, move carefully and respect the normal mechanics that react to player activity. A generated city can make escape routes more complicated.
Use waypoints responsibly
In large city worlds it is easy to lose track of a base or portal. Mark safe routes with in-game methods or tools already present in your modpack.
